About Micestrotech<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n M<\/span>icestrotech is it just a dream, no! atleast not anymore. For me it is my dream coming through making it now my reality.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As with most stories are placed, written, spoken and read mine is not so different from yours. I was born in a small community during the 90s, things were<\/span><\/p>\n changing so rapidly and it became so intriguing loved by most young people regarding the rapid growth of the use of technology. I began to investigate and found a passionate seed planted deep within me for the love of all these technological devices now been on the market. I decide to expound on my passion and was driven to water this seed growing inside me. This amazing new birth became my reality and made my heart pump with adrenaline to be now getting accustom to technology. My latter years filled with memory as a child attending the Ruseas High School with my first recollection of using smart technology was a Motorola cellphone<\/span><\/p>\n the ones with the long antenaes (poles) and was huge it rang in the bus and everyone is silent people would whisper “that’s someone important”. LOL<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Being such a tender age, I still did not know where my passion was taking me for this new innovative way of communicating. I fell into the music which at the time was a hobby in which I decided to explore even further. This hobby also led me into the use of computers and my fascination then grew for web designs, post cards, fliers, business cards, production of CDs and Movies. I was now the sole proprietor of the sound system Titanic which I paid little attention to in order to develop my true passion for the use of technology, My eager was no longer for the use but rather how this magnificent device works.<\/span><\/p>\n After rebuilding my sound system changing its name to Veteran at the time. I was encouraged by my mom to go back to school as she too noticed the flame burning deep within me for technology. I then registered and attending the Jamaica AdvancedComputer Systems (JACS) school of Technology and attained a level 1 in Computer Repairs and Networking. This Course offered me Database Management, Corel Draw Microsoft Office Suite. As I reflect now on my studies I remember the words of one of our Directors who stated that \u201cIt would be great to put that dream together of mine with music and technology. Upon my exit of JACS, I still did not own a computer and had no access to same. Though many schools were in my surroundings and a library they lacked these resources. I lost hope but the passion didn\u2019t die.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I learnt from my Eldest sister who grew up outside Jamaica and was very familiar with Technology its uses and how they actually were built. She gave me a quick lesson on how a microprocessor is the computers brain. She had an Intel Pentium 1 chip, to her it was just a mere chip, but to me it looked like it’s just the most<\/span><\/p>\n important thing. I would ask her alot about computers. My passion is my motivation and I got my first system from my stepdad and used it for burning cds and designing. Internet access was most certainly not offered, hence I still had a lot to learn. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I started working at game zone in montegobay and my system didnt have internet and making it very difficult to complete assigned task. It was also a very old system and kept breaking down. This now caused me to become even more intrigued in learning how to fix and build these machines. With me advancing each time to another level, I also took my brother as my greatest prodigy who I introduced to computers, who later became my greatest encourager and share his knowledge about Android and linux backbone at that time this made us evolve into technology more than most as we were dedicated and loved the challenge. We evolved at that time it’s like a switch. Now in the era of this technological time of 5gs and A.I.s, I’m coding web designs, fixing almost every smart gadget, Apple Developer<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n With all of that I also had the passion in me to help make a difference in nation building moreso world change and became a volunteered member of the United Nations (UN)<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n My Experience goes from Gamezone to Kingston on to Ideal Computers Computer Depot and Hopewell High School to Xerox plus other Schools, Government Agencies, Licensed Contractors, Banks, Celebrities you name it and still have the chance to keep both music and technology together and meeting some wonderful people and talented Smart Techs. One of my greatest moments is having the honor of repairing a former Governor Generals iPhone. I remember some of the warnings and the risk as my passion was motivating me getting it finish and saying sir it’s done that is what mattered. The feeling of seeing happiness on someone that you’ve helped or assisted in some way especially if they depend solely on the use of their phones as most do today. I felt proud not of the person or his importance but still just seeing that as it’s another happy customer as I just take time and pride in what I do.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n My eldest brother says to people constantly “Yow if mice cant fix it that’s it” I used to still laugh cause I wouldn’t consider myself great and sometimes I used to say maybe I’m lucky but I’ve come to realize it’s the blessings, experience, time, effort and most importantly when one is driven by a true calling and purpose for their life certainly makes a huge difference in how they perform. My sleeping hours consist of sometimes 6am-10am. My passion and dedication wont let me sleep I cant go to my bed having a problem and so when I’m working to me your problem is now mine and the feeling of not seeing that smile but a broken down sorrowful look it cuts deep. I never get despair, we all make mistakes, we all get tired but as your technician I stay steadfast, committed and dedicated to my work because technology changes everyday and what you know now it’s already being expired by time you finish reading this.
