Micestro, Whitemice, Mice, Veteran Birth name Mario Woode (jnr) named after his dad the kid in the middle of 5 kids.
Mario had an early passion for music, singing with his older brother Michael aka Squash a very talented singer and song writer also singer with younger singer Monelle in their community church choir, at a very young age and pursuing music even further after passing, his Common Entrance Exams in 1993.
Attending Ruseas 1993 Mario was a part of the Ruseas School Choir and entered competitions all over Jamaica with music teacher and fellow students.
In 1998 his final year of Ruseas he did a performance for their Grand Fun Day imitating Mr Vegas and Wayne Wonder which even surprised teachers as being quite his performance was astonishing.
Meanwhile attending Ruseas in 11th grade, while still into sound systems it wasn’t until a rainy day he first got the alias Whitemice. Which he got the name singing in the rain sheltering at a shop a member of the community stated that Mario looked like a “Wet Rat” and sounded like the artist Originally name Whitemice.
He used this alias to his advantage bringing it to his sound system Veteran, and then others follow the trend and change it over a period of years calling him Mice, Micestro.
Then Micestro rhyming with Maestro and still Keeping The Mice, Its official the master of technology and music walla MICESTRO.
Throughout his music career he entered Digicels Rising Star 2011, performed live at Watson Taylor Park 2012 for Ruseas Old Students Association and opened the show for Alaine, Tifa and Assasin.
Micestro has done a lot of cover version, dubplates, poems just to name some of the work and has helped many entertainers who used his studios. Once a member of Star Camp Production with Blakk Kat and Pink Panther, micestro still does music and currently promotes his youtube channel SuperWhitemice which host a number of music videos and songs.
